Full-Time Bartender at Bay Creek ResortBay Creek Resort, located in Cape Charles, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Pay Range: $12.77 to $15.00Key Responsibilities:Stocks the bar; mixes and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory recordsMaintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are neededEnsures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by managementCommunicates guest requests and concerns to the Department ManagerPerforms opening and closing duties, including but not limited to inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restockingIs accountable for checks and cash transactions and utilizes the point-of-sale systemReviews banquet schedules for changes, calendars of events, and special eventsServes catered parties from service or portable barsOccasionally serves meals to guestsIncorporates safe work practices in job performancePerforms other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be at least 21 years of age to meet state requirements for serving alcoholOther Qualifications:Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varietiesAlcohol Awareness TrainingExtra Information:Experience preferred but not requiredT.I.P.S current certificationBenefits & Other Compensation:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteriaAdditional Compensation – Eligibility for Service Charge, Employee MealsEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
