BartenderASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Banquet Captain at the Irving Convention Center. This is a hands-on position, providing the highest degree of professional catering service to guests with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction and retention.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets up and services individual beverage locations.Enforces all liquor laws.Verifies and accounts for all liquor inventory.Maintains proper sanitation of work area.Follows proper safety practices in the work area.Provides pleasant and efficient service to customers.Reports to F&B Personnel in appropriate uniform for assigned location.Prepares all beverage items for sale in the station.Sells to customers, charging amount indicated on ASM price list.Receives and handles card payments and/or tickets.Verifies cash register is programmed properly, according to ASM approved sales prices.Follows all rules and regulations.Requests identification for every guest purchasing alcohol.Performs other related duties as assigned by Food Service Manager.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
